Every year we make new year resolutions and even if couldn’t achieve them last year this year with full passion we say I’m gonna do it but after few days or weeks and sometimes after few months all goals and resolution go on the background.
everyone have some goals someone wants to get good grades’ someone wants to get a job start a business and someone wants to build a reading habit or even want to learn a new language.
But here is the thing, there’s a difference in setting a goal and actually putting a full effort to accomplish them. Even if you try your best to achieve them but at some point you lose consistency and lose your track and it becomes very difficult to come back on track.

So here I’m sharing some of the tips that helps me to achieve my goals
1. Set realistic goals:
this is the most important part. You may have heard or read thousand times before but let me say it again set realistic goals in order to accomplish them, If you have gain weight in the period of time you can’t lose in just 10 days are you can’t get A grade by just studying one day before exam if you have not studied the whole year.
So take a realistic approach to identify your will power and than set your goals.
2. Write it down:
You may be thinking and planning constantly in your mind about your goals and plans but you can’t practically act on them until you write it down. So write it down and no not on your phone apps or on the laptop write them on a notebook or on a sticky note.
3. Do it on a specific time:
Here comes practical work if you really want to achieve your goal, if you want to start writing Daily set a specific time which suits you it could be in morning afternoon or maybe at the night. Decide that time and work on that time daily.
4. Do it at least 5 days of week:
In the beginning in order to be consistent after writing down your goal on the notebook and setting your specific time, do it 5 days a week. let’s say if you want to start writing , write it on the time you have chose for yourself and start writing 5 days of the week and take two days break , in these two days , do research, create new ideas do brain storming or anything you want to do.
5. Eyes on the prize:
Whenever you lack consistency always remind yourself that what will you get at the end. Always put your eyes on the prize to motivate yourself remind yourself why are you doing it what is your reward at the end after so much work.
